DESCRIPTION
The DM 6080F is a fully digital fl ush-mounted conference unit in theDIS DCS 6000 Digital Conference System product portfolio.
The unit is designed as a discussion unit with channel selectorfunctionality. It features a microphone button, headphone connectorand channel selector, a loudspeaker as well as a lockable XLRmicrophone connector.
The microphone button enables the user to activate/deactivate themicrophone either directly or by a request to speak. A button LEDindicates whether the microphone is on (red LED) or in request tospeak (green LED).
The fl oor channel is distributed through the built-in loudspeakerexcept when the microphone is turned on. The user can also listento the fl oor channel by inserting headphones in the headphoneconnector and regulate it with the volume buttons. Optionally,the channel selector can be used for listening to an interpretationchannel.
The DM 6080F can be used in combination with the gooseneckmicrophones GM 652x or GM 6622 or the boundary microphoneBM 6620.
The gooseneck microphones GM 652x or GM 6622 can be lockedto the unit with a 2 mm hex key. The lock is accessible from thesmall hole to the right of the XLR socket. Turn the hex key clockwiseto enable the lock and insert the gooseneck microphone intothe XLR socket. Turn the hex key counter clockwise to disable thelock and remove the gooseneck microphone.
The boundary microphone BM 6620 can be retrofi tted by replacingthe XLR insert in the plastic adaptor with the boundary microphone.The molex mini connector fi ts with the microphone connector onthe PCB.
The DM 6080F can be mixed with any conference units from theDCS 6000 Digital Conference System.
