The DM/CM 6501F Conference Unitsare fully digital microcomputer controlledconference units with 3 button votingfacilities (optional 5) and a chip cardreader for use in the DIS DCS 6000Digital Conference System.

The unit is specially designed forexternal connection to loudspeaker,speak/request buttons and gooseneckmicrophone.

These conference units are intendedfor use in conference halls, parliaments,meeting rooms and all other places,where a person need a conference unitfor either receiving information or addressinginformation to other personsattending the conference or to personsnot participating in the conference.

The units are designed for the use ofone person; however two units canshare one microphone.
The conference unit can be used i.e.by Chairmen and Delegates.

The following system operation modesare available:Automatic, FIFO, Manual and VOX(Voice Activation) as well as mixedoperation modes (with SW 6000). 
The units are designed for flush mountinginto a table.

The DM 6501 F:
• Connection for external “Speak”push button to activate/deactivatethe microphone
• Auto Off of microphone
• 3 microphone interrupt ability modesenabling “ping pong” microphoneoperation
• Connection for external connectionof DIS GM44xx Series GooseneckMicrophone.
• Connection for loudspeaker
• Chip card reader for user identification
• ‘Sharing microphone’ mode, wheretwo units are sharing the samegooseneck microphone
• Digital Audio Transmission
• Single cable "Loop Through"
• Free cable topology w. repeater
• Unique ID no. identification duringsystem initialization

The CM 6501 F:
• Connection for ‘Delegate Off’ button
• The CM cannot work with ‘SharingMicrophone’

Voting and VOX Voice Activation is CUFeature License dependant.
